DIGITAL technology is the most sophisticated hearing aid technology and it allows greater control over sound quality and sound processing characteristics. We are proud to work with several leading hearing instrument manufacturers to offer you the most advanced technologies. We have a full range of instruments available, from basic analog to the most advanced digital instruments, depending on your particular needs. There are several basic case styles for hearing aids into which various levels of circuitry and options can be placed:

OPEN FIT: Newest style. Discrete micro-sized BTE case with the ear canal open except for a clear slim tube. Alleviates plugged perception and lessen interference with ear wax. Allows for directional microphones, multiple programs, and remote control/bluetooth options, if selected.

BTE (Behind-the-Ear): Stylish but larger case allows for more circuit and power options, on-board control (or remote control option), and longer battery life. Can be connected to slim tube fitting for a more discrete appearance or a custom earmold. Also allows connectivity with accessory devices.

ITE (In-the-Ear): Most visible and easiest to handle. Larger size allows for accommodation of options such as directional microphone or telephone coil.

ITC (In-the-Canal): Slightly smaller and less visible than full ITEs.

CIC (Completely-in-the-Canal): Smallest aid. Cannot accommodate some circuit options. Requires good dexterity and requires a small removal string. Sometimes difficult to adapt to deeper fit. Shortest battery life.
